Pick three defining words from the lyrics of a song. For instance, if your song is Nirvana’s “Come As You Are” your three words might be “a known memory”. Or if your song is The Beatles “Yesterday” your three words might be “all my troubles”.
Voila! Both those three words are taken from the lyrics of those songs. Easy. Take any song – even one of your own – and pick three words that define the song.
Now enter your words in the search button on the top right to see if they’re available.
Buy the words for $3, Get the widget to paste into your blog or site. The widgets will also be continuously rotating here on the front page. When people click on your 3 words they go through to your site.
At your blog or site you might like to supply the lyrics for your song. Or write a story about your memories of that song. Or supply a sound file. Or a video. Or even a link to a band’s MySpace, YouTube account or their home site.
Of course you don’t have to do any of these things. You might just buy the words “we are sailing” for your yachting site. Or “welcome to the” might lead to Hotel California’s site. Or you maybe you just want a song title. Hmmm…I wonder where “Paint it Black” might lead?
BTW did you remember where the lyrics “(that’s the) way uh-huh, uh-huh” came from? It’s KC & The Sunshine Band’s 1975 disco #1 hit “That’s the Way I Like It”. .
So what is your song and what are your three words to trigger a memory of that song? Enter your words in the Search now. |
